Nebbiolo and Vespolina come from the historic hills of the municipality of Lessona, on ancient, acidic, orange-yellow marine sands, a terroir that lends finesse and depth. The long 45-day maceration in stainless steel and 36 months in French oak create an austere, precise red with great potential for aging. The palate is refined, deep, and consistent, with noble tannins and well-defined mineral tension. A Lessona of absolute excellence, designed for long aging and for those seeking Piedmontese reds with a strong identity and stylistic rigor.

Tenute Sella preserves one of the noblest histories of Alto Piemonte. Since 1671, the family has tended vineyards in Lessona, ancient lands born from marine sands and suited to producing red wines of great finesse. Quintino Sella's toast with a Rosso Lessona in 1870 recounts an identity that spans Italian history. With 23 hectares of vineyards, the winery preserves a rare winemaking heritage, built on memory, elegance, and family continuity.
