Vigneri 2025 from I Vigneri di Salvo Foti continues the idea of a simple and distinctive Etna red, made from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grown as bush vines on sandy, volcanic soils. The manual harvest in late October, the vinification in the Palmento Etneo made of lava stone, and the aging in amphorae define an artisanal and strongly territorial style, far from invasive practices and close to the most authentic Etna tradition. The wine has a deep ruby color and a profile reminiscent of ripe cherries, dark berries, spices, and light smoky nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied and dynamic, with well-defined tannins. A volcanic red with character, direct, and highly recognizable.
