Camerenda Barbaresco DOCG 2022 from Cascina Carlot is a wine designed for those seeking a territorial, easy-to-read, and concrete wine. Made in Piedmont, Italy, from Nebbiolo, its profile is consistent with the grape variety and the winery's style. In the glass, it offers a garnet red color with orange highlights; an ethereal and intense aroma. The flavor is dry, full, delicate, and velvety; distinctive notes of violet, berries, and spices. The soil, a substratum of clay, calcareous marl, blue marl, and tuff, supports structure, freshness, and a precise flavor. Manual harvesting in crates with selection in the vineyard enhances a careful selection of the grapes. In the cellar, maceration and fermentation last 10 to 15 days in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Aged for 2 months in steel, 24 months in barrique, and 8 months in bottle.
