Campo Romano Pinot Nero Langhe DOC 2024 - Poderi Colla
Poderi Colla's Campo Romano Pinot Noir Langhe DOC 2024 is a wine designed for those seeking a territorial, easy-to-read, and concrete wine. Made in Piedmont, Italy, from 100% Pinot Noir Burgundy, its profile is consistent with the grape variety and the winery's style. In the glass, it offers a delicate garnet red color, a fine nose, and aromas of griotte, tobacco, and spices. On the palate, it features flavors of ripe fruit, fresh tannins, rounded and well-integrated into the body of the wine. The manual harvest, in early September, highlights a careful selection of the grapes. In the cellar, the grapes are hand-picked, destemmed, pressed, and macerated on the skins for 8-10 days at a temperature of around 30°C (86°F), followed by complete malolactic fermentation. Aged in oak barrels for approximately one year.
