Ca'Lojera's 2023 Chardonnay is a Garda white wine that combines aromatic finesse and structure, grown on the morainic hills of Ponti sul Mincio from Guyot-trained vines on sand, clay, and gravel soils. Manual harvesting in early September, fermentation in stainless steel, and a year of aging in stainless steel and barrique, followed by six months in the bottle, create a balanced and clear profile. The nose reveals hawthorn, green apple, apricot, and subtle nuances of hazelnut and almond. On the palate, the wine is harmonious, with pleasant citrus sensations that balance the typical softness of Chardonnay. An elegant and solid white, suitable for those seeking substance, freshness, and a contemporary approach.
