Franco Mondo's Di.Vino Monferrato DOC 2021 is a Piedmontese red that combines tradition and intensity, created from a blend of Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon. It displays a dense and luminous purple-red color. The nose unleashes a vibrant, fruity bouquet, dominated by notes of ripe raspberry, enriched with hints of fresh red berries. On the palate, it is dry and aromatic, with a velvety, fleshy structure that envelops the palate. Its dense, full-bodied texture is balanced by soft tannins and good acidity, giving it balance and great drinkability. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant aftertaste that invites another sip. Vinification takes place with temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, followed by a period of aging on the fine lees, which gives the wine depth and roundness. Born in the heart of Piedmont, it represents an authentic example of Old World wines, capable of combining strength and elegance. Excellent paired with rich dishes such as duck breast with gingered red cabbage, roast veal liver with apples and onions, vegetable couscous with beef tartlets, or rich pasta dishes. A versatile and intense red, perfect for social occasions and characterful dinners.
